Q-Credits, storage and the limits that actually bite

Everything in an Agency workspace is pooled. There is one credit balance, one storage figure and one bill — shared by every project, Draft and Active alike.

The two credit balances

Open Management and you'll see two tiles side by side:

TileWhat it is
Q-Credits balanceYour monthly pool — 3,000 per base project. Refills at the start of each billing month. Spent first.
Wallet balanceCredits you have bought. Used only once the monthly pool is empty. Each purchase keeps its own expiry date.

So a 2-project plan starts each month with 6,000 credits, plus whatever is in the wallet.

Inside any project, the sidebar credit bar shows the same pool: Q-Credits — Used: 0 / 6,000 · Remaining: 6,000.

What spends credits

Anything the AI does: strategy generation, Add Posts, Create Posts, Q-Chat, rewrites, image generation, media analysis.

Rough figures to plan against:

OperationTypical cost
Add Posts, one week~39 Q-Credits for 11 posts
Create Posts, per post3–5 Q-Credits
AI image, once the free monthly ones are gone40 Q-Credits
Q-ChatVaries, and not always predictably

Why Q-Chat is the unpredictable one. Q is an agentic system: a single request can fan out to several sub-agents — reading your strategy, searching your media, drafting, checking its own work — and a question that looks small can do a lot of work behind the scenes. Two similar-sounding requests can cost quite different amounts. Watch the balance rather than trying to price a conversation in advance.

AI images: every base project includes 30 free AI images per month. After those, one image costs 40 Q-Credits.

Seeing where credits went

Grouped by operation, with who ran it.

Read this as recent activity, not an accounting archive. The list shows the newest records and stops at 1,000:

This view is limited to the latest 1,000 activity records.

If an operation sits partly outside the window it's marked Partial — at least this amount. Your Q-Credits balance is the authoritative number.

Buying more credits

Management → Top Up Q-Credits.

Top Up
Top Up

Presets: US$5 / 10 / 25 / 50 / 100 / 200, with +10% on US$100 and +25% on US$200 — so bigger top-ups are better value. You can type any amount. The panel shows exactly what you get before you commit.

Purchases use the Agency owner's payment method, and land in the wallet.

Auto top-up

Set it once and stop thinking about it:

  • When below (Q-Credits) — the trigger, e.g. 6000
  • Top up (US$) — how much to buy, e.g. 20
  • Monthly cap (US$) — the ceiling, e.g. 100, tracked as US$20 of US$100 this month

It charges the owner's saved card and only runs once a card is on file.

Both need the Purchase Q-Credits / Manage auto top-up administration rights.

Storage

30 GB per base project, pooled. A 2-project plan gets 60 GB, shown as Storage: 209.1 MB of 60 GB. The Projects tab breaks it down per project so you can see who is eating it.

Drafts count toward storage too.

Frequently asked

Do drafts cost credits? Yes — generating a draft's strategy spends Q-Credits like any other AI work. What a draft does not cost is a paid project slot. The first few each month are charged at the subsidised plan rate (twice your paid capacity per month); after that, at the standard rate.

Do my monthly credits roll over? No — the pool resets each billing month. Bought credits (the wallet) persist until their own expiry.

Which balance is spent first? The monthly pool, then the wallet.

What if I run out mid-month? Top up, or turn on auto top-up.

Can an administrator buy credits? Only with the Purchase Q-Credits right. It charges the owner's card.

Why doesn't the usage list add up to my balance? It's a recent-activity window (newest 1,000 records), not a ledger. Trust the balance.
